Private Conservatory-level instruction

for Washington’s most discerning students.

  • "Piotr is a world-class guitarist and international performer. He is extremely personable and humble in his approach to teaching, which stands in important contrast with his dedicated and serious approach to art, and the standard he has set for himself in his career. Many times performers of this level do not also have the gift for teaching, but with Piotr and Georgetown Guitar Academy, there is both."

    —Cliff S., Google Review

  • "A superb teacher… a master guitarist."

—Strobe Talbott, Former U.S. Deputy Secretary of State & Brookings Institution President, excerpt from a Financial Times article in December 2010

  • "My two years studying with Piotr were some of the most transformative of my musical education. With his guidance, I auditioned and was accepted at two highly competitive conservatories in Europe after just three years of playing. As a teacher, Piotr is patient yet passionate. He pushed me to my limits and didn’t let me get away with any half measures - all while inspiring me to develop my own artistic voice. He boosted my playing to a standard I didn’t know was possible in record time."

    —Julia S., Google Review

  • "Piotr is an exceptional musician and instructor. I received an undergraduate in music with a focus on guitar and have since studied many years with many world-renowned guitarists. I can confidently recommend Piotr and Georgetown Guitar Academy for personal or professional instruction. "

    —Andrew P., Google Review

  • "Piotr provided real, honest, individualized feedback designed to improve not only my technical capacity but also my musical understanding of the works we studied together. He suggested several effective practice methods and technical exercises to structure and develop my practice routine. Piotr helped me find great success at several guitar competitions - helping me prepare the required repertoire as well as training me for high intensity performance situations. During my senior year of high school, Piotr coached me for 8 conservatory auditions."

-Grace E., currently a full-time professor of guitar at University of South Carolina
